Integrative Therapy, Inc., was founded to provide healing through the integration of counseling, consulting, or coaching throughout the United States and internationally. As a therapy practice, every patient will have the opportunity to increase their wellness and mental health to the level of their satisfaction. As a training practice, every therapist is in constant training to increase competencies in our specialties: trauma, early childhood, adolescents, individual, family, and couples. Dr. Romero

Dr. Raphael Romero, Psy.D., ABPP, is a seasoned clinical psychologist certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). He holds advanced degrees in psychology and theology from respected universities like Rosemead School of Psychology/BIOLA University and Dallas Theological Seminary. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Romero has worked and trained others in various places, from emergency call-centers to medical facilities, juvenile centers, and private practice. Currently, he works as a consultant and contractor. He's skilled in areas like early childhood mental health, trauma therapy, individual and family counseling, and psychological assessments for people of all ages.

Xavier Bailey, LISW

Licensed Independent Social Worker in South Carolina

Mr. Xavier Bailey is a LISW-CP in the state of South Carolina with over eight years of experience providing clinical therapeutic care services to pre-teens, teens, young adults, couples, families, and elderly in a multitude of healthcare and therapeutic environments. Mr. Bailey completed his Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina – Upstate in 2013 and his Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina – Columbia in 2016. Mr. Bailey trained in person-centered, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, motivational, strength-based, mindfulness, and emotionally focused approaches to therapy. Mr. Bailey can readily join the individual, couple, and family in a nonjudgmental and collaborative manner to obtain the best therapeutic result. Mr. Bailey's goal is to create an environment where the person can form a relationship between healing and their areas of concern. A place where honest dialogue is the pathway to truth and truth is the key for healing. Allow him to connect with you where you are and walk together towards healing. 

Andrea Aoun, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California

Dr. Aoun (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist in California who specializes in the treatment of 0-5 age group, children, families and trauma. Dr. Aoun received both her Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne. Dr. Aoun received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in psychology from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.  Dr. Aoun has over 10 years of working with children and families in field based and community mental health settings. She is certified as both a trainer and therapist in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) which are both evidence based therapy modalities. Dr. Aoun is also endorsed by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health at WestED as an Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health specialist (IFECMH) and Reflective Practitioner II (RPII). 

Dr. Aoun is also trained to work with adults who are navigating various life challenges such as: parenting obstacles, maternal mental health, work and school stress, grief and loss, issues pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community, immigration and acculturation challenges, depression, anxiety, unresolved childhood traumas, and relational conflicts. Dr. Aoun utilizes an integrative approach to support clients toward healing and always aims to provide her clients with the quality care that they need and deserve.

De'Ontay A Winchester, D.H.A/LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker in South Carolina/Supervised by Cindy Plutro, LISWS

Dr. De’Ontay A. Winchester Sr. is a retired U.S. Army Non-Commissioned Officer. In addition to his military service, he has a Doctorate of Healthcare Administration (D.H.A). and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (M.S.W.). His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (B.S) and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology (A.A). Dr. Winchester's goal is always to provide the best care for his patients and hence is certified as a Master Life Coach, Professional Career Coach, Cognitive-Behavioral Coach, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner. As a Certified Diversity Professional with experience facilitating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training across various industries. Dr. Winchester has collaborated with organizations, ranging from healthcare and education to government and nonprofits, in promoting an inclusive and equitable workplace culture. Furthermore, Dr. Winchester is an ardent lifelong learner passionate about staying current with the latest research and best practices in treatment care. Lastly, he is a civic leader and organizer, leveraging his skills and experience to promote social justice and positive change in his community. 

Nicola Boyd, LMFT-A

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - Associate in South Carolina/Supervised by Tita Johnson, LPCS

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am dedicated to working with children, adults, couples, and families. I have a Master of Arts (M.A.) in counseling psychology from the Wright Institute, Berkeley, California, where I gained solid education and professional training to work using a range of therapeutic approaches.

I am experienced in treating formal diagnoses, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I can also help you navigate life transitions or heal relational conflicts that are overwhelming you. Using an integrative model, I collaborate with you to work through personal issues and support your success in therapy. For relationship struggles, therapeutic interventions will be used to promote a healthier connection between you and your child, partner, or other family members. All clients will be provided with a safe, confidential space to receive the care they need. My goal is for you to feel empowered, so you can move toward a life of fulfilment and healthy well-being.

Talia Stevens, LPC-A

Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate in South Carolina/Supervised by Tita Johnson, LPCS

I graduated with an Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. My training focused on science as it interlinks with psychology and childhood development. My treatment is eclectic, using a cognitive-behavioral therapy approach, interweaving narrative therapy, polyvagal theory, and attachment theory to help clients increase their personal awareness, improve relationships and work through hardships they faced. I am passionate about helping people find their inner strengths to overcome the past and stride into the future with a growth mindset.

Emanuel Alston, D.Ed., LISW 

Licensed Independent Social Worker in South Carolina

Dr. Alston is a highly qualified Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) from Nova Southeastern University. He earned his Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (B.S.) from the University of South Carolina. Prior to his civilian career, Dr. Alston proudly served his country in the Navy Reserve. 

With over 25 years of dedicated service, Dr. Alston has provided invaluable support in various settings, including schools, juvenile corrections schools, and international contexts. His treatment approach is rooted in solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and family-involved modalities. 

Dr. Alston has a special focus on working with children, families, and notably fathers. Through his comprehensive social work services, he addresses a spectrum of issues related to fatherhood, nurturing individuals' inner selves, and fostering the overall success of students and families alike. His commitment to making a positive impact is

evident in his extensive and diverse professional experience.

Michelle Kaigler, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker in South Carolina/Supervised by Cindy Plutro, LISWS

I graduated with an Master of Social Work (M.S.W) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Kennesaw State University. I am certified in School-Based Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management and in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Also, I am trained in Zero Suicide Training. For the last 10 years I treated individuals, families, and groups in various settings, including schools, virtually, and outpatient facilities. Outside of work, I cherish time with my family, reading, and embracing opportunities to travel and explore new cultures.

We accept most forms of payment, including through electronic means only: debit and most major credit cards. Any overage will be credited to services subsequently provided.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Unlike visits to medical doctors and clinics who may double-book appointments to make up for possible cancellations, our services are scheduled for individuals, couples, and families on a "reserved-time basis." Therefore, a credit card preauthorization is required to schedule your appointment.

We recognize that even the best laid out plans are sometimes subject to change. Therefore, we understand that if, it becomes necessary for you to occasionally miss a session then, we require that you inform us at least 24 hours in advance via text, phone, and email to ensure a time stamped request and to avoid a charge to your credit care for the session fee as noted on the fee schedule.

COMMUNICATION POLICY

Although, we acknowledge that current technologies allow people to communicate in many different and often convenient ways, to date, these technologies and can fail to meet the privacy criteria demanded by law. However, upon signing this form you agree to communicate via text, email, mail and telephone communications with you. We will make every effort to maintain privacy and confidentiality via these communication means, and it is your responsibility to maintain privacy and confidentiality on your end. Furthermore, we will only accept email messages through our designated emails provided by the provider to request, not to cancel or to reschedule, an appointment.

LEGAL AND OTHER FEES

Charges for other basic services will be made on a prorated hourly basis based on the fee­ for-service amounts shown above as it pertains to the services provided. With the exception of legal services, as described below, these services include: report writing; photocopying (time plus 20 cents per page); faxing; telephone conversations with you, or a designated and authorized person (personal acquaintance, relative or professional); attending meetings with other persons or professionals that you have designated and authorized to meet with us, including travel time, preparation of record or treatment summaries, and the time required to perform any other service that you have requested of us.

Participation in legal proceedings is highly disruptive of our normal business and may infringe on the therapy times normally reserved for other patients. Therefore, if you become involved in legal proceedings requiring our participation, the hourly rate of $300 for all services, including those listed above (plus $0.20 cents per page for photocopying). A minimum of four hours ($1,200) will be charged for attendance of legal proceedings outside of our normal business location, including travel time. These fees must be paid in advance by debit or credit card.                                               ·

LATE FEES

Except when payment has been deferred due provider and consumer prior arrangement, all account balances will be billed at the beginning of each session and are due by the end of session. Balances are considered late 24 hours after the date of the invoice and will be charged to your credit card or financial means provided. Accounts with late balances will accrue 1.5% interest per day and are subject to collection efforts unless other prior arrangements have been made. 

In cases of hardship, we will make every effort to work with you to help you pay your bill. However, we reserve the right to use all means available to us by law to obtain payment including but not limited to, the use of a collection agency and other legal means. You will be responsible for paying any collection costs accrued to us these collection efforts.

OFFICE HOURS

Our normal business hours are 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am through 5:00 pm on Fridays, regardless of time zones. We are closed all Sundays and for all State and Federal Holidays. In addition, we may close on other specific days and times to observe religious holidays, education and the need for self-care. Your provider will inform you of any other closures OR availability depending on their schedules.

EMERGENCIES

Sometimes patients find themselves in crisis at times when we are not able to answer inquiries via email, text, or phone. If, you find yourself in that situation then, please call 911 first to alert them of your need for care. You are also encouraged to leave us a message on our voicemail or email, but please understand that these means are unmonitored outside of our normal business days and hours (see office hours above).

DEFINITIONS

Affiliates: Anyone representing the patient or deemed appropriate by the guardian.


Agency: Integrative Therapy, Inc.


Collateral: People somehow related to Patient(s) invited to sessions in support of Patient(s) recovery. Collaterals are Not Patients(s) but may have rights or responsibilities as to this Agreement in relation to minors.


Mental Health Services (MHS): Psychotherapy or Counseling with the goal of improving social/emotional/developmental wellness.


Consultation Services: Consultation service is not psychotherapy but limited to behavioral services geared to provide guidance for individuals, groups, companies, couples, or families on the process of improvement in the identified inquiry by the patient and provider.


Coaching Services: Coaching services is not psychotherapy or consultation but limited to general guidance in the identified inquiry by the patient and provider.


Patient/Patients: The person or persons receiving psychotherapy/counseling/consulting/coaching services.

Service Fee: The entire fee charged for each service provided.
